| The 'red-y' gas flow measurement and gas flow
control instruments are distinguished by a novel type of base technology
that is setting new standards for maximum-precision sensor systems. The
fusion of a semiconductor chip with sensor technology yields a highly integrated
system solution that is built to impress with its excellent sensor precision
and its digital intelligence and reliability. The compelling customer advantages of this technology are the high precision, a fast response time as well as a dynamic measuring range that no other system to date can match. Thanks to the compact single chip design, CMOSens-based sensors possess extreme resistance to electromagnetic disruptions (EMC), a significant technical advantage of this state-of-the-art sensor technology. With CMOSens, the sensor element, amplifier and A/D converter form a single unit on the same silicon chip. The digital intelligence combined with the CMOSens sensor allows for the generation of a fully calibrated, temperature-compensated output signal. The CMOSens 'intelligence' integrated on the chip thus makes processing the generated data exceptionally easy. CMOSens is a registered trademark of the company Sensirion (Switzerland). |
